Scandinavian Symphony

I am exhausted, but I still have much to do. I need to finish packing (which means unpacking some of the things from Stendal so they comply with Ryanair's rules), and I've been given a cover lesson starting in 10 minutes. I could really do without it, and I'm not meant to have them, but the one who asked me to do it is the same one who signed the form allowing me to spend two days in Sweden anyhow, so I didn't want to irritate him.

I still have much to post, but I really do not have the time to do so. There's an Internet terminal beside the gates at Lübeck Airport, though, so I'll do a quick update later, probably just to let you know that getting from the school to my apartment to the station to Lübeck to the aiport to the departure lounge all went smoothly. See, this is why I prefer trains to planes. Far less hassle.

...and then, Stockholm! I've not had much opportunity to see what there is to do there, partially as I won't have much time there. I know there are lots of pretty buildings, a large christmas market, and that its subway system has been called the longest art gallery in the world, but on the whole, I'll be impulsive and do what I feel like doing, Sweden-style.

With one very major exception, of course. I won't record the concert like I did with VGL, because it's a nuisance, and because it will be available on CD anyhow. For those who know FF music, I wouldn't worry too much, the tunes they are set to play are very much the standard (Aerith, Zanarkand, Draco & Maria, Chocobo). However, Nobou will be there, and I'm still secretly hoping the Black Mages show up. Believe me, I'll keep you informed. This is exciting.

...but I still don't speak any Swedish. I know most people speak English, though, so it ought to be okay, and if not, I have my German, right? I do feel guilty for leaving Germany, but I doubt my German will suffer too much, when I'm being bombarded with Sverige rather than English...
